Summary
Work inspired by the famous « concertos » representing the four seasons of Antonio Vivaldi, whose musical work was performed in more than 1000 different versions.
This is the first photographic representation of the Four Seasons, which depicts spring summer, autumn and winter.
This parallel between Vivaldi’s work, being a tribute to nature, and Philippe Shangti’s use of women to depict it, is a way of showing that women are never more beautiful than when they are natural.
