Jugement de Paris

The artist Philippe Shangti recreates in his own way the famous « Judgement of Paris » by the baroque artist Peter Paul Rubens.

Indeed, this work dating from the XVII century depicts goddesses of mythology fighting over the golden apple, which is destined to be given to the most beautiful of goddesses.

Philippe Shangti is inspired by this representation and reinvents it in a different way, leaving aside the feminine rivalry of the original version, and gives importance to solidarity and sharing.

He emphasizes the natural beauty of the woman, who needs no artifice to be represented in her splendour, like a goddess.
